GENERAL
The craft is a exceptional 55' Twin Screw Motor Yacht build on the Aqua-Star 55' hull and superstructure mouldings to the following specification.
HULL
- A Glass reinforced plastic moulding constructed to Lloyds Register of Shipping recommendations and a modern Lloyds approved moulding factory using the latest Isophthalic gelcoat, woven cloth reinforcing, Balsa cored topsides for extra stiffness and insulation. Stringers, water tanks, main bulkheads and engine settings are moulded to the hull, 3 water tight bulkheads. Colour White with blue stripe.
MAIN DECK
Toe rail is fitted around the deck edge, a pair of S/S fairleads is fitted at bow and a half oval stainless rub rail is fitted to protect the deck edge

BILGE SYSTEM
The craft is divided into 3 watertight compartments; chain locker. Machinery space and the aft-hold. The forepeak drains overboard the forward and aft accommodation which are fitted with a bilge auto/manual Electric pumps. The machinery space and aft hold is also fitted with these pumps.
ENGINE ROOM
The main engines are situated in the engine room with a portable treadplate sole arranged between them. The hatches and bearers over the engines are completely removable and the underside of the hatches, bulkheads, aft and engine room sides to waterline are lined with sound proofing materials.

The craft is finished with choice veneered bulkheads. All doors or hardwood trim is of cherry. Working surfaces and toilet compartments are lined in plastic laminate. Overhead linings are pf PVC. Carpet is fitted throughout to owner’s choice of pattern from the standard range. Curtains are fitted throughout the craft to owner’s choice.

AQUA-STAR 570
The Aqua-Star Explorer 570 is moulded from top quality GRP production mould tools, in the best isophthalic gelcoats, for best shine and wear resistance. All work is carried out in an approved 30,000 sq.ft. heated boatyard.
Efficient use of flow moulding and fitting out programmes result in a top quality craft built in reasonable timing by tradesmen with more experience in fitting out semi-displacement motor yachts than any other U.K. yard. Each boat has personal contact between customer and build team from the Managing Director, Works Manager and team of Cabinet Makers.
